State Conference Registration Form Now Available
The registration form for Suicide Across the Age Span, Pennsylvania’s First Annual Suicide Prevention Conference is now available! The conference will be held on September 12, 2007 at the Holiday Inn in Grantville.
This important conference will cover the prevalence of suicide, prevention efforts across the state, and include a workshop for survivors of suicide. The conference is open to the public but will specifically be targeted toward leaders, select personel, counselors, MSW’s , LSW’s, community and mental health employees, elder care staff, corrections officers and juvenile justice staff, and survivors of suicide
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the prevalence of suicide in Pennsylvania and the country, define what constitutes a best practice for a suicide prevention program and respond to family members effected by suicide.Cost is $25.
