Shine for Survivors Bracelets

Shine for Survivors is a special collection of bracelets from Stone Cottage Jewelry that provides a message of hope for anyone grieving from loss. This is jewelry with a cause – a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each bracelet will go to the community organization Feeling Blue.
Using only the best materials (Swarowski crystals, sterling silver, gemstones, Czech glass, artisan beads) each bracelet is one of a kind to express individuality, becoming an artistic sentiment of the wearer’s own personal story and beautiful remembrance of a lost loved one. As survivors we are joined together—without boundaries of a specific type of loss--and reminded of the commonality of our experience. The “shine” inscription tag, while offering recognition, speaks to a positive message of hope to accompany us on our journey.

Comfort Baskets

These unique gift baskets are designed for people who have recently lost a loved one to suicide; when flowers aren't enough. Each basket contains a wristband (see above), candle*, imported chocolate, soothing tea, relaxing aromatherapy products as well as handbooks and booklets providing resources for survivors and practical information on grieving a death by suicide.
You can chose between the survivor candle (see above) or a candle with the inscription of Comfort. Comfort candles are toffee colored, scented with mulled cider, and contain howlite and rose quartz. Awareness Posters
Feeling Blue Suicide Prevention Council is pleased to announce the first in a series of posters we're developing designed to promote awareness and reduce stigma. The series is intended to reach different age groups, populations and professions.
This first group in this series is geared towards teens and their parents. We decided to create two versions, one focusing on depression instead of suicide and one specifically addressing suicide. We understand that many of you may feel that having posters in schools that say suicide may normalize it for some teens. Many of us disagree and feel that promotes the myth that talking about it will cause it. Additionally, while we don?t want to normalize suicide for teens, we also felt it important that adults need to know about the high incidence of suicide in young people, therefore we designed both versions.
